Last night saw Royal Caribbean International reveal new dining plans for Quantum-class ships including no main dining room, no set dining times and no formal nights.
Named 'Dynamic Dining' it will allow guests to choose from 18 different restaurants. Among the complimentary dining venues will be American Icon Grill, serving comforting favourites; Chic, featuring a contemporary menu with a focus on proteins and Silk, an Asian inspired eatery.
A restaurant called Wonderland will see chefs twist their culinary delights into never-before-seen dishes in a fairy-tail inspired venue. The line have described it as "dreamscape of never-before-seen fare".
Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will also feature celebrity chefs. Britain’s favourite chef Jamie Oliver will open his first restaurant at sea with Jamie’s Italian, showcasing his popular Italian favourites. Joining him will be Michael Schwartz of Michael’s Genuine Food and Devin Alexander from the TV show The Biggest Loser.
The line’s already popular restaurants Chops Grille, Izumi and Chef’s Table will return, but with a new look.
For those who like casual dining, a new expanded Windjammer Buffet will be available aswell as a 24-hour grill, an on-ship bakery, Café Promenade and SeaPlex Dog House.
There will be no set dining times and guests can book reservations via a new online planning tool that is set to launch on May 15th.
Quantum of the Seas will debut November 2014 and homeport in Bayonne, New Jersey and Anthem of the Seas will arrive in 2015 and call Southampton her home during the summer.
