Cunard'sQueen Mary 2
is a spectacular vessel with something to offer everyone, it has been claimed.
The ship, which recently celebrated its fifth birthday, is one of the world's most elegant liners and is designed to reflect a bygone era.
Writing in the Telegraph, actor Simon Williams described the ship as "magnificent", with tastefully designed public areas and a surprise around every corner.
Everywhere you turn there is a treat in store: the harpist at the foot of the magnificent staircase, the scones at tea, the view of the sky through the retractable glass roof above the swimming pool, the smooth steel efficiency of the gym, the air always at a perfect temperature," he commented
According to Mr Williams, there is an extensive range of entertainment options, with everything from bingo to line dancing on offer.
The Cunard Line will launch its newest vessel, Queen Elizabeth, in 2010.
Built at a cost of around £500 million, the Queen Elizabeth will be the second-largest Cunard Liner ever built.
