Known widely for its innovative television programming on the Discovery channel, the new partnership will offer guests unique enhancements to their cruise both onboard and off.
Explore the corners of the globe as you discover the reaches of the universe with the new Discovery Under the Stars stargazing experience. Perfect for all ages, guests can join astrology experts onboard selected sailings as they reveal the wonders of the skies. Teen programmes and clubs will also benefit from the new relationship with onboard themed activities including experiments inspired by the hugely popular MythBusters.
These unique programmes also extend beyond the ship with Discovery shore excursions offering themed experiences in conjunction with their Animal Planet, Gold Rush and How it's Made programmes from the Discovery Network. Get up close and personal with sharks or follow the journey of the grape from vineyard to wine glass in a in depth wine tour. The programmes will first be offered on new ship, Regal Princess from December 2014 before being rolled out across the fleet through 2015.
