has announced that more passengers than ever are to get the chance to be married at sea as it extends its Tie the Knot at Sea wedding programme.
The programme will now be available on all Princess Cruises
liners across the fleet, meaning that brides and grooms-to-be will have the choice of 15 different Princess Cruises ships to get married on.
"Our wedding programme not only gives couples the opportunity to be married by the captain, but also customise the wedding of their dreams," said Jan Swartz, Princess' senior vice president of customer service and sales.
"We joined about 1,000 couples in matrimony last year with only part of our fleet involved in the programme. Now, every ship in our fleet can offer weddings ? including those that sail some very exotic worldwide destinations."
The Grand Princess
was the first of the Princess Cruises fleet to offer the programme in 1998, but now smaller ships such as Sun Princess
, Dawn Princess
, Sea Princess
, Regal Princess
, Pacific Princess
and Tahitian Princess
will join the fleet's larger vessels in the programme.
