Cruise line P&O Cruises
has teamed up with four leading poets to run children's workshops.
Young people between the ages of two and twelve will get the chance to stretch their creative muscles onboard the Oceana
Whitbread prize winning writer Diana Hendry, author of Harvey Angell, is among the participating poets - she will join passengers onboard Oceana's
Summer Splendours voyage in July.

, says: "Children can be the toughest of critics and so we make sure we open their eyes to new experiences, just as we do for their parents. Combined with a programme of age appropriate sports, games, crafts and activities, these poetry sessions will form the perfect balance in the youth crew's entertainment programme."
Voyagers enjoying April's Iberian Adventure will meet James Carter for interactive fun and games.
Meanwhile, P&O Cruises'
Iberian Interlude in May will play host to Paul Cookson - a celebrated cartoonist as well as poet.
Roger Stevens will round off the programme in August, providing music and laughs for all the family. P&O Cruises
also recently announced its itinerary for the 2007-8 winter season.
