The Norwegian Pearl, operated by Norwegian Cruise Lines
(NCL), is set to make her TV debut this weekend, in a one-hour special on the Travel Channel.
Entitled 'Great Cruises: Norwegian Pearl', the programme was shot during a seven-day Alaska sailing and will enable viewers to see the ship's facilities up-close and the range of shore excursions on offer.
Kevin Sheehan, NCL's president and chief executive, said he was pleased that the ship had been selected to feature in the TV series.
"With the first bowling alley at sea, a world-class spa, numerous speciality restaurants and a host of other amenities, Norwegian Pearl has so much to offer cruisers, especially in Alaska where guests can enjoy the glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife all from the comfort and convenience of the ship," he added.
The programme will be hosted by former Miss Universe Brook Lee, who will embark on whale-watching excursions and a fishermen's tour.
Other vessels operated by NCL include Norwegian Jade
and Norwegian Pearl
