Noddy and Mr Bump team up for P&O Cruises

Date Posted: 04 Mar 2008
Family cruises with P&O are set to get exciting this summer, as Mr Men favourite Mr Bump joins Noddy onboard its cruise liners.

The move is a part of an overhaul of its children's clubs, by P&O Cruises, which will see a unified brand known as The Reef implemented across its whole flotilla.

Younger children aged between two and four years old will be known as Splashers, while five to eight year olds will be referred to as Scubas, the nine to twelve year olds will be designated Surfers while the older 13 to 17 year olds will be part of the group called H2O.

"We know that our mini cruisers will be delighted with their new clubs and we are sure that they will look forward to progressing through the groups as they return to our ships on their next holiday," commented Head of Brand Marketing at P&O Cruises, Philip Price.

He added that Mr Bump and Noddy will be onboard the cruise ships and will join families for breakfast as well as playing games with them at other times.

Meanwhile, for those who can't wait until their summer cruise holiday for a glimpse of the bumbling character, Mr Bump is making a return to television this month.
