MSC Orchestra prepares for Caribbean season

Date Posted: 07 Jan 2009
Category:
The MSC Orchestra has arrived in Fort Lauderdale ahead of its inaugural Caribbean season.
Operated by MSC Cruises, Orchestra launched last year and is the second of the cruise line's Musica-class ships.

Richard E Sasso, president and chief executive of MSC Cruises, said he was delighted to be introducing the ship to the North American market.

"It is an elegant ship in every respect – spectacular public areas, and a wealth of choices for dining, entertainment and activities, all with a style that epitomises MSC Cruises," he commented.

The ship has a passenger capacity of 2,550 and is home to five restaurants, including the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant, the only dedicated Chinese eatery at sea.

Founded in 1987, MSC Cruises is one of Europe's largest cruise lines and offers voyages to destinations including South Africa, South America and the Caribbean.

What our customers say

"Leighanne has been excellent dealing with my various queries this year. She has been kind and informative and obtained what i think is a good deal for me in October. She is persistent and very informative, so even when my 1st deal fell through I felt confident enough to approach her for this present Crystal cruise...”
