MSC Lirica to homeport in Shanghai

MSC Cruises continue to expand their presence in China with Shanghai being announced as the newly appointed homeport of MSC Lirica. The announcement comes as part of a two year agreement with CAISSA Touristic Group.

MSC Lirica is recently refurbed as part of MSC Cruises extensive Renaissance Programme and will be based in Shanghai from May 2016 offering year round trips. This will occur post a 60 day itinerary including South America and the Mediterranean.

Bringing a Mediterranean way of cruising to the Chinese market, the refreshed MSC Lirica will also deliver cutting edge technology and innovative cruising to MSC Cruises Chinese guests. More than 30 percent of the crew will be fluent in Mandarin along with signage, menus etc making the ship suitable for Chinese holiday makers.
