has announced that it is to embark on a restyling of its ships' exteriors.
Ships MSC Armonia
and MSC Lirica
will be the first two of the fleet to have the MSC logo painted on their sides.
The MSC compass logo will be painted on the hull side of the ships in order to "ensure instant recognition in the ports visited during the many and varied itineraries" that the fleet sails on.
The logo was designed to symbolise the diversity of the horizons attained by the MSC Cruises'
ships while the MSC acronym at the centre of the insignia is said to represent the guest, who is the focal point of the MSC Cruises'
"MSC Cruises is recognized as a cruise line that offers impeccable service, warm hospitality, renowned cuisine, exciting design and great comfort in the staterooms and public spaces," the cruise line stated.
Other ships in the MCS fleet set to be embellished with the logo in the future will include MSC Orchestra, MSC Musica, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Opera, MSC Melody and MSC Rhapsody.
