And according to Ms Richardson, the most popular destinations for these overseas nuptials are exotic locations such as Caribbean islands.

Sales director Leslie Peden described the developments as "welcome news".
A Mediterranean itinerary for summer 2009 has also been announced by
Island Cruises which includes the new ports of call of Elba, Calvi, Cannes and Trapani in Sicily.
A fly-cruise itinerary called Mediterranean Splendour has also been published which includes calls to Naples, Civitavecchia, Elba, Calvi and Mahon and is aimed at previous customers.
