Footballer's Wives lifestyle onboard the Island Escape

Date Posted: 19 Jun 2006
Category:
Passengers heading off on an Island Cruises vacation this summer need not worry about the impact of the World Cup on the experiences they can have onboard.

While the cruise line is screening the matches for the football fanatics, Island Cruises is also offering something for those who are looking to escape the summer football fest.

Island Cruises is hosting a number of Footballer's Wives events onboard its cruise ships, with the Island Escape home to a number of fun and exciting activities for the football widows onboard.

The events include a medium from Sky TV offering an insight into what your future holds, a team of makeup artists from Virgin Vie offering makeovers to passengers and a representative from Ann Summers with a range of delightful products.

Perfume seminars and spa specials have also been arranged on board the Island Escape and Island Cruises has said that special World Cup shopping excursions have been scheduled to allow those that don't want to watch football indulge themselves with some retail therapy.

What our customers say

Thank you for the usual Iglu super service. For some reason on checking onto the ship we were upgraded from our balcony cabin to Yacht Club Class on 16th Deck – we felt like VIPs the whole time. As one other family who had booked through Iglu were also upgraded (they travelled out of Gatwick same holiday dates as us) we believe the VIP or VICompany was Iglu, not us. We could only conclude that MSC wanted to impress Iglu customers. Whatever the reason, it certainly helped considerably to add to our enjoyment of the holiday. thanks again and a very Happy New Year to all at Iglu.
