Traditional British cruise line P&O Cruises
have announced enhancements to their embarkation procedures for Southampton cruise terminals effective fleet wide.
Getting your cruise off to the best possible start, P&O Cruises have made substantial changes to ensure a quick and easy embarkation can be experienced when sailing from Southampton.
Enhancements to the P&O Cruises embarkation experience include more security lanes, speedier delivery of baggage to cabins, quicker cabin preparation and lunch to be available onboard all afternoon. A new check-in system was successfully introduced for Britannia
sailings and will now be actioned across the P&O Cruises fleet.
Check-in times will be allocated to decrease crowding and offer guests more time onboard rather than in the terminal. The earliest possible arrival time is 12:30 pm which is reserved for Ligurian Tier and suite guests.
Priority lane’s will be available for suite, Ligurian, Baltic and Caribbean guests and a newly improved Welcome On Board Reception will run from 1:30-3:30 pm serving a selection of complimentary drinks and canapes.
