Drama aboard Queen Mary 2

If you enjoy scenes and drama and like nothing more than taking part in acting workshops, consider a cruise onboard Queen Mary 2.

Actors and directors from London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Rada) are currently taking part in a programme of performances and workshops onboard the Cunard Cruises' vessel.

For the entertainment of holidaymakers, abridged versions of Romeo and Juliet, Great Expectations and Under Milk Wood will be performed.

Additionally, cruisers will have the chance to take part in three acting workshops led by the Rada troupe incorporating dramatic poetry readings.

"The RADA programme offers our guests the unique opportunity to experience dramatic performances of the highest quality in the ship's extraordinary theatres," commented Carol Marlow, managing director of Cunard Cruises.

She added that for many, participating in a Rada workshop is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity.

Alumni of Rada include Vivien Leigh, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Joan Collins, Peter O'Toole and Ralph Fiennes.
