Diamonds aren't forever with Costa Cruises
- the prized jewels are taking centre stage for a short but special period.
To mark 60 years of Italian cruises, the line is launching a truly sparkling competition for the 2007-08 Caribbean season.
Guests sailing onboard the Costa Fortuna
and Costa Mediterranea
between November 2007 and April 2008 are to be entered into a draw that could see them become the lucky recipient of a diamond necklace.
Each week, one name will be drawn randomly by a cabin member and this lucky cruiser will receive a necklace featuring six diamonds set in white gold.
"Our guests tell us just how memorable our cruises are for the special brand of magic we create of bringing the love, laughter and la dolce vita of Italy to life on our ships - and for two lucky guests each week, that experience will become even more memorable," said Lynn C Torrent, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company's North American arm.Costa Cruises
is renowned for the Italian cuisine and family-friendly atmosphere on its voyages.
