has received delivery of the newest ship in its growing collection, Costa Serena.
The new flagship of the European cruise line was delivered by shipbuilder Fincantieri and joins the Costa Concordia
- her sister ship - as being the European liner with the largest capacity.
Costa's new liner cost ?450 million (?308 million) and features some of the latest in cruise liner features, such as the Samsara Spa, which covers more than 23,000 sq ft and has direct access from 99 cabins on board.
A grand prix racing car simulator brings the thrills and spills of motor racing to the guests on board the Costa Serena too, offering what the company calls "the most accurate representation of grand prix driving".
Costa Serena is Costa Cruises'
12th ship, with the newest addition capable of carrying 3,780 guests. Decked out with 1,500 cabins, the ship weighs 114,000 tonnes.Costa Cruises
