Following its recent refurbishment, the Queen Mary 2
operated by the Cunard Cruises
has a new and improved communication network, it has been revealed.
Passengers travelling onboard the ship will now be able to access their emails and surf the net with greater ease.
Furthermore, the installation of a new wireless network means that guests will now be able to connect to the internet from the comfort of their own staterooms.
Carol Marlow, president of the Cunard Line, commented: "Whether enjoying sea days on our legendary transatlantic crossings or world cruises, or visiting ports around the world, our guests will appreciate the ability to stay in touch with home or work."
While the use of mobile phones is permitted in most areas on the ship, guests are advised to contact their service providers before travelling in order to ensure they have the correct roaming applications set up.
The Queen Mary 2 is one of the world's most distinguished ocean liners and guests travelling onboard the vessel can expect timeless elegance and Cunard's famous White Star Service.
