Celebrity Cruises launches 'online shopping portal'

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled an exclusive new online shopping portal, enabling passengers and travel agents to order a variety of items for onboard or home delivery.

'Shop Celebrity' offers gifts, memorabilia, cruise logo clothing and the opportunity the purchase items from Celebrity Cruises' partner websites.

Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Celebrity's vice president of hotel operations and onboard revenue, said the new shopping portal gives passengers the opportunity to purchase goods whenever they want to.

"Based on feedback from our guests and travel agent partners as well as the growing popularity of online shopping in today's marketplace, we wanted to create a virtual experience reflective of the bricks-and-mortar shopping experience that we offer on our ships," she explained.

Celebrity Cruises currently operates across destinations including Bermuda, the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera and the Panama Canal.
