Celebrity Cruises have revealed plans for a year of special events leading up to the farewell of Celebrity Century.
It was announced last year that Celebrity Century will be leaving the fleet in April 2015. The 19 year old ship first set sail in 1995 and is the lead ship of the Century Class ships. Guests have grown to love her spacious and stylish design and she set the standard for many of the newer fleet members.
To celebrate her time with Celebrity Cruises, the line have unveiled plans for a year of special events including a 'President’s Celebration of the Century Cruise' which will see Michael Bayley, CEO and President of Celebrity Cruises embark on a 14 night sailing.
During her final season Celebrity Century will break the record for becoming the most well-travelled ship in the fleet, calling at 17 new destinations across 32 countries. New destinations will include Manila, The Philippines and Yangon. Guests will also have the opportunity to take part in a range of culture-rich shore excursions.
Further special events and exclusive onboard programming will be announced shortly.
