Celebrity Cruises has been celebrating after four of the company's ships featured in a prestigious poll listing the world's best liners.

Speaking last week, Celebrity said that four of its Millennium-class ships have made it into the top ten of Conde Nast Traveller magazine's 'Top Cruise Ships in the World' poll.

Dan Hanrahan, the cruise line's president and chief executive, thanked Celebrity's employees for delivering star quality service across all ships.

"We're grateful to the well-informed readers of Conde Nast Traveller who have repeatedly ranked all of Celebrity's Millennium-class ships in the top ten in this prestigious poll," he added.

Destinations currently served by Celebrity include Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and South America.

The cruise line will launch its next ship, the Celebrity Equinox, later this year, followed by Celebrity Eclipse in 2010.
