A multi-million dollar renovation of the 2,974-passenger Carnival Glory has resulted in the vessel being fitted with a variety of new features including a new adults-only retreat area.
Cruise lovers opting for a voyage aboard the vessel can also look forward to enjoying a giant seaside theatre with an LED screen and 18 new balconies to complement existing ocean-view staterooms.
As well as a new Mongolian wok venue, which was added to the casual poolside restaurant, the ship boasts a Circle "C" facility for 12 to 14-year-olds and bow to stern Wi-Fi access.
Carnival Cruises' president and chief executive Gerry Cahill said the company is always looking for ways to improve holidaymakers' experiences in a bid to "deliver fun and memorable vacations".
"The new Seaside Theatre, adults-only area and Circle "C" facility, which are all available to our guests on a complimentary basis, serve to enhance an already terrific, value-packed vacation choice," he explained.
An estimated 1.65 million UK cruise holidays are predicted this year by the Passenger Shipping Association.
