Allure Of The Seas Completes Revitalisation

Allure of the Seas has completed her first dry-dock ahead of her summer season in the Mediterranean.

Royal Caribbean ensure every ship in their fleet undergo a significant revitalisation every five years. After her debut in 2010 the largest cruise ship in the world has completed her first dry-dock in Cadiz, Spain.

During her 18 day makeover she has gained an array of new features as-well as upgraded decor and furnishings.

Already boasting multiple restaurants, she has now gained three new specialty restaurants including Sabor Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant and Izumi, the Royal Caribbean sushi restaurant.

A complimentary restaurant named Coastal Kitchen has been added for suite and pinnacle guests.

New shops have been added to the Royal Promenade including a Michael Kors store and Kate Spade New York.

Other new onboard amenities include a new super-fast internet service, a new arcade in the kids area and a new Diamond Lounge. 40 new staterooms have also been added.

Allure of the Seas will spend the summer in the Mediterranean sailing from Barcelona, before returning to her homeport of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
