Holland America Line
has announced it is introducing a number of new shore excursions for its Alaska cruises.
In total, Holland America Line
offers more than 230 different shore excursions for its Alaska cruises, intended to make itineraries flexible enough to meet the needs and preferences of guests.
Haines, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Sitka, Skagway and Seattle are all new shore excursions offered by the cruise line, with a number of existing favourite excursions remaining among the choices for guests.
"Our diverse selection of shore excursions allows guests to create their own personal Alaska experience," said Richard D Meadows, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programmes.
"Alaska is a destination that offers excursions unlike any other region - wildlife, wilderness, cultural and historical. We make sure our guests not only have an enjoyable cruise, but a memorable one."
Helicopter flightseeing and glacier trek, musher's camp and dog sled adventure, Alaska bear adventure by floatplane, Tatoosh Islands sea kayaking, and the Eagle Preserve float adventure are among the existing excursions that are available through Holland America Line
The cruise line recently named its top seven scenic cruises, with the Alaskan glaciers among the incredible sights.
