Accommodation of the MSC Lirica is very spacious and well designed. The ship can hold over 2,000 guests should it be required and it's not just the cabins that are in numbers. You can find a great range of restaurants and lounges throughout the Italian decks. The two main dining rooms are La Bussola and L'Ippocampo. They naturally focus on an Italian cuisine and are noted for the delicious risotto that's made table-side. There are also two less formal dining areas, the Le Bistrot Cafeteria and La Pergola Restaurant, which are great for casual bites when you just want a quick slice of pizza before dipping in the pool.

Naturally, you can expect the bars to offer equally good tipples. The Lord Nelson Pub is the perfect spot for a quiet drink before a show or even a good meeting place to catch up with friends. If you're looking for something a bit more lively, then the Beverly Hills Bar and Rodeo Drive come recommended for their live music and range of cocktails.

MSC Lirica Facilities

Whether you're on Med cruises or Baltic and Fjord cruises, when you aren't ported, you can really get stuck into some of MSC Lirica's excellent facilities. The first stop should be the Broadway Theatre for a late show where the ship really comes alive with great performances and acting. In the afternoons, you can try your hand at the Italian cookery lessons on offer, or of maybe email your friends a few holiday photos from the ship's Internet café.

Kids are well catered for onboard with a specialised are on deck 11 for anywhere from 3-17 year olds. There's also a 24-hour arcade for the more technology hungry. While the children are enjoying themselves, why not treat yourself a bit? Ladies can head to the superb spa facilities with magnificent views across the ocean whilst you get pampered to high heaven. Gents might prefer a quick work out in the gym, or perhaps a swim in one of the ship's numerous swimming pools.

Overall, the MSC Lirica is a wonderful ship that brings in a real range of European and American passengers, in a very friendly and fun atmosphere. It's perfect for families and you can be sure of a charming and elegant cruise that you'll never forget.
