Gorgeous massive modern ship. Amazing buffet food at the informal Lido restaurant, excellent food at the speciality restaurants (albeit tiny portions!), amazing friendly service (even got personalised service at the restaurant). One minus is that all tips are purportedly included in your booking, but then you get a surprise bill of $11.50 per person a day for "hotel service charge", which turns out to be "obligatory gratuity" for room maintenance and also for tips to all other staff in the background that you never get to see. We refused to pay this and opted for paying handsome tips to the 3 guys that bowled us over with their personalised service (the room service guy and the 2 restaurant staff at the Lido). Challenge the hotel service charge at any rate! We know almost everyone else just grinned, complained, and paid it in the end. Also make sure you don't need a doctor onboard! They have good medical facilities with several staff but you have to pay $97 to see the doctor for a checkup (you have to pay extra for any medicines, prescriptions). My partner wanted to have his tooth checked out and that's the price we were quoted. He just paid $1 for Ibuprofen instead. Onboard entertainment was not bad. The mainstream stuff was mainly bad, but we were thrilled with the B B King Blues Band multiple times as well as the violinist and the pianist at the Piano lounge (both first-class even though those venues are a lot smaller). There are 2 pools, one exclusively used by kids so it's busy, the other is supposed to be for adults but there were the occasional kids in it (but people complained) and even without them it's relatively small so it gets very crowded very easily, particularly between 1-4pm. In general though we loved being on our floating hotel taking us to lovely beaches and I have to reiterate that the service was impeccable.

Absolutely amazing time on board all crew were helpful and very entertaining. Cabin stewert was very pleasant always willing to help.... the dinning room crew were amazing MR W, well kids all took a shine to him... and the evening entertainment was amazing Charlotte one of the singers, well now hands up to her. She is a very helpful and pleasant lady... 10/10 for her enthusiasm and pleasantness. lovely crew all round and would deffo recommend.

Gastown
The oldest place within Vancouver at the heart of its very origins, Gastown was set up in 1867 by John Deighton whose various stories and adventures garnered him the name of ‘Gassy Jack.’ Nowadays, you’ll find fantastic restaurants, and the famous steam-powered clock in Maple Tree Centre.
Chinatown
In Vancouver’s China Town district you can visit the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden where you can see a truly beautiful collection of plant life and ponds. There is also the Sam Kee Building which is the narrowest office building ever built, spanning barely 2 meters wide!
English Bay
English Bay is a beautiful beach that is home to outstanding high-end shops and mouth watering restaurants. There are also waterfront trails to follow if you like beach walking.
Canada Place
Canada Place is the perfect spot to start your adventures around Vancouver as it is where you’ll first step ashore from your cruise ship. Explore the pier, and be taken back by the outstanding architecture and views. At the end of the pier you’ll find the Flyover Canada attraction. From here, you can also use Canada Place as a transit hub to other places around Vancouver.
Seattle
DAY 3
Boasting the iconic, futuristic Space Needle, visitors to Seattle can enjoy fantastic views from the Great Wheel as well as try delicious food in the Pike Place Market, or take in one of the city’s popular museums such as the Museum of Pop Culture, the Museum of Art or even the aquarium. Meanwhile, for those interested in horticulture and design, the Chihuly Garden and Glass is a must, while lovers of the great outdoors will find plenty of scenic hikes.

Space Needle
Seattle’s most iconic symbol, the Space Needle towers 184 metres high over the city with jaw-dropping views from its observation area at the top. Completed in 1961, the Space Needle has been made world-famous by appearances in pop-culture, such as the hit film Sleepless In Seattle.
Museum of Pop Culture
“MoPOP” has regular exhibits celebrating everything pop culture and contemporary. Founded by Paul Allen of Microsoft in 2000, MoPOP is a great day of viewing original lyric notes, legendary instruments and even cinema, gaming, fantasy and sci-fi exhibits.
Seattle Center
If you only have a day in Seattle, the Seattle Center is ideal for getting a taste of the city in one go. Here, you’ll find the Space Needle, the pop culture museum, Chihuly Garden and Glass, ride the monorail and wander grounds boasting John T. Williams totem pole.
Seattle Great Wheel
Opened in 2012, this giant Ferris wheel is a great way to see the epic skyline of Seattle. Visitors will enjoy a leisurely ride a 53-metres up in the air - giving the London eye a run for its money - on pier 57 around Elliot Bay.
San Francisco

Famous for the Golden Gate Bridge, steep streets with retro trolleys letting you hop on and off around the city in style and infamous Alcatraz, San Francisco is northern California’s hub for arts, cool cuisine in Chinatown and a myriad of film settings around Fisherman’s Warf. Visitors can marvel at the charming “postcard row” of delightful Victorian houses, and choose from a number of riverside bars to relax in.

Alcatraz
Situated on an island out in the San Francisco bay, Alcatraz was probably the world’s most famous high-security prison. Serving as a high-security jail for the US’s most hardened criminals it was said the facility was impossible to escape from- luckily, today the destination is a fascinating museum.
Golden Gate Bridge
Completed in 1937, the Golden Gate suspension bridge is one of the USA’s most iconic pieces or architecture. Spanning one mile across San Francisco bay out towards the Pacific, around the constructional marvel there is also got a gift shop and tourist facilities to match the stunning views.
Napa and Sonoma Valleys
The most famous international wine growing region in the whole of the USA, these scenic valleys of vineyards are a must for anyone who loves wine-tasting in some of the world’s most beautifully manicured landscapes.
Hilo, Hawaii

Located on the ‘big island’ of Hawaii itself, Hilo is a typical Hawaiian town closed to the Wailuku State National Park, famous for the rainbow falls due to the shimmering colours cast by the spray reflecting the gorgeous light of the sun above. The distinctive ‘boiling pot’ lava pools bubbling away are also in the vicinity, along with Kilauea and Mauna Loa active volcanoes

Wailuku State National Park
This scenic park is famous for two major natural attractions- the Boiling Pots and Rainbow Falls. The Boiling Pots are a series of hot pools flowing like bubbling water, while Rainbow Falls is an 80ft waterfall casting spectrums of light as the spray catches the sun.
Kaumana Caves
Created by lava flows in 1881, the Kaumana Caves are within easy reach of Hilo town. Free to explore, it’s a fascinating area within the state park that comprises picturesque cave areas, alongside lush wildlife.
Lyman Museum
If you’re looking to learn more about Hawaii, head to the Lyman House Memorial Museum. Founded in 1931 and housed in an early 19th century house, there’s plenty of fascinating exhibits to explore within it.
Honolulu, Oahu

Honolulu is famous not only for laid-back Hawaiian style and gorgeous beaches, but also as the location of the attack on Pearl Harbor, which visitors can learn about at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. To explore the wilderness of Honolulu, the grand Iolani Palace and Nuʻuanu Pali mountain are also well worth a visit, while a Helicopter tour is a must for unrivalled views of land and sea.

Pearl Harbor National Memorial
Also known as the USS Arizona Memorial, this floating shrine is only accessible by boat and sits directly over the sunken warship. The resting place of 1077 crewmembers whose names are enshrined on the memorial, here you can see parts of the craft still jutting out of the water.
Nuʻuanu Pali Mountain
This breath-taking vantage point offers unrivalled views of the Koolau Cliffs and Windward Coast. Nestled among mountain peaks at over a thousand feet high, visitors can take in the scenery of the lookout for free before carrying on to the town or coast.
Iolani Palace
This beautifully restored palace is a key part of Hawaii’s identity. Built in 1882, this restored landmark features original artefacts including furniture, accessories and photographs. Visitors can tour the palace, gallery and grounds self guided or with a guide.

The capital of New South Wales, Sydney is a popular tourist destination thanks to its variety of attractions, restaurants and picturesque surroundings.
