Monarch, previously known as Monarch of the Seas, joined Pullmantur from Royal Caribbean Cruises in 2013. With space to accommodate up to 2,733 guests, Monarch is one of the larger ships in the Pullmantur fleet and features a range of excellent facilities for a relaxing or fast paced cruise holiday. Pullmantur’s truly all-inclusive cruising experience can be enjoyed onboard Monarch with many dining and entertainment options included in the price.

Accommodation starts with stylishly appointed cabins including TV, dressing table, hairdryer and en-suite facilities, plus options for upper berth to suit groups and families. Grand and Junior Suites are available with ample storage and all feature a spacious balcony for absorbing scenic sea views. Waves Yacht Club advantages are available to suite guests (Junior Suite at a cost) with notable little differences such as premium toiletries and Cava on arrival. Those looking for a little more luxury can opt for a Royal or Deluxe Suite with a separate living area and minibar.

An ideal choice for families, Pullmantur provides dedicated kids clubs and fun activities for children and teens aged 3-17 years of age.

Cuisine and Dining on Monarch

Dining onboard Monarch is an enjoyable experience with a range of delicious options to choose from. Two main dining rooms, Auster and Boreas, offer a la carte European classics in elegant formal surroundings. Large groups are well catered for with the option of two different sittings and tables to seat various group sizes.

Informal dining can be enjoyed at the Panorama Buffet or the alfresco Pizzeria. The outdoor Pizzeria buffet serves up a multitude of popular choices such as pizza, pasta, burgers, salads and cold meats. For dessert, the Ice Cream Parlour will satisfy even the sweetest tooth.

Entertainment on Monarch

With so many options for entertainment onboard Monarch, days at sea can be just as exciting as a day exploring onshore.

Sea days can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways as Monarch boasts a library, internet space with computers, photo gallery and many public spaces for socialising. Outdoor fun facilities include a rock climbing wall, basketball court, two saltwater swimming pools and two Jacuzzis.

Pullmantur’s dedicated Children’s Clubs provide plenty for the kids to do with age appropriate, fun activities. Grouped from 3-6, 7-11 and 12-17, kids and teenagers can enjoy each and every day of their cruise.

Evenings can be enjoyed in one of Monarch’s many bars or lounges, or in the two–tiered Broadway Lounge with performances from magicians, comedians and live musicians. Lady Luck waits in The Casino del Mar with many table games for anyone feeling fortunate, and the Cyan Nightclub keeps the music going for dancing into the early hours.

Spa & Fitness on Monarch

Spa del Mar is the place to be for the ultimate pampering session. Those looking to relax and unwind during their cruise can choose from a broad selection of indulgent treatments.

Maintaining fitness can continue at sea with Monarch’s aerobic classes, fully kitted gym and outdoor jogging track.
