Summary: My daughter treated my husband and myself to join her and her little daughter on a 14 day cruise in the mediterranean on Independence of the seas. We had been on a cruise before but were totaly blown away with this ship. What a wonderful ship, and lovely friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble for them. So much to do, such wonderful food, it was a job to decide where we were going to eat next.
The shows were fantastic always something differrent every night the children pool area was amazing so much for them to play on I never heard a single child say mum I'm bored, even my grandaughter who had a broken arm had to be dragged away moaning when we left the pool area to get food if she had had her way she'd have lived on the FREE ice cream and iced fruit drinks that were always there to help yourself to; on most other ships like P & O the only free drink is water and if you want ice cream you have to buy it SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOUR PUTTING THE OTHER COMPANYS TO SHAME!

Summary: i had never been on a cruise ship before and i loved every second of being on the cruise so much. I am so impressed with the Independence of the Seas that i am hoping to be back on the ship soon as the experience was so amazing- the staff are very friendly and kind and the entertainment is brilliant. All i can say is that it was one of the best holidays I have had and will look forward to going back on the Independence of the Seas.
