Shanghai - wow. There's nothing quite like this city, which has so much to offer the traveller. The Iglu team reckon this is the highlight of any world tour. We've put lots of effort into this category, which we're sure took us the longest out of the whole Iglu Awards project.

The respect and pride of the Chinese people for their culture is evident in everything they do. An extensive display of Chinese artefacts in the Shanghai museum is further evidence to this. Being a cosmopolitan city, you will be able to find many interesting things to do and if the buildings get too much you can also take some time out in one of the many parks. You are never far from man-made wonder as the whole city doubles up as large exhibition. There are classes that teach the basics of many Chinese arts such as calligraphy, martial arts and any other activity of your choice. Getting around couldn't be easier as you can cycle your way around the city just as most people do or you can use the intriguing but also ingenuous bullet trains to travel further afield.

The Iglu team found the best blogs which fulfilled our criteria - informative, entertaining and interesting. But unlike a lot of other blogs, these blogs are useful to anybody staying in Shnghai.
