Race Date: 24th - 26th May 2024

Monaco may be the world’s second smallest country, but it is definitely the world’s most extravagant. Located on the sunny French Riviera, Monaco is famous for its dazzling harbour, elegant Belle Epoque casino, lavish restaurants and royal monarchy.

The Monaco GP remains the crown jewel of the F1 calendar. Its glitz and glamour, stunning backdrops, renowned history and revered principality make it Formula Ones most glamorous event. The excitement of the Grand Prix hits fever pitch when race day in Monaco comes around. The thrilling action on the track is matched by the exciting party atmosphere taking place around it. The Monaco GP has been a fixture on the calendar since 1929. The street circuit takes six weeks to set up prior to the race weekend, and is set along the Principality's famous streets that exude timeless charm.

A narrow course with elevation changes, tight corners, difficulty of overtaking as well as the tunnel. The contrast of light to dark presents challenges that are not faced on other tracks as the drivers have to adjust their vision as they emerge from the tunnel at the fastest point on the track and brake for the chicane in the daylight. This makes it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One. The circuit is famed for its narrow unforgiving track and the difficulty of overtaking. Race goers can expect a thrilling race which every driver dreams of winning. Past winners of this race include: Moss, Hill, Senna, Schumacher and Hamilton.

Staff Top Tips

The best part of the Formula 1 Monaco cruise experience was sitting in the Grandstand and having an amazing view of the pits because of our amazing package perks. My top tip is to stay in Nice, it's only 25 minutes on the train to Monaco and considerably cheaper. You also get a chance to explore the city the day before!
