Summary: The actual check in process was very smooth. A tip for others is to complete the on-line check in forms on the Royal Caribbean web site and check-in at the pier will be a breeze. And as always as soon as we got on board we went straight for the Windjammer buffet. The cabin was a decent size.

But the ship itself is in good shape with some sign of aging, even though the capacity of the ship is over 3,000 we barely felt crowded. Also our waitress was excellent she always smile, we had a lovely time onboard of the Explorer.

Summary: Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas was a nice cruise. The ship was in good shape and the food was very good. The staff were wonderful and provided very good service to us. Our stateroom was always very clean and thanks to our stateroom attendant.

The shows on the ship were OK and there were enough varieties for us to choose from. However, the casino was not as big as we expected. If the casino was bigger, it would be more entertaining. The equipment in the gym was also not too adequate for a frequent gym user like me.

Overall, it was still a good experience with Explorer of the Seas.
