The river cruise was very good ,great organization by Saga on all the trips and the reps were excellent . The only problem we had was the return flight was cancelled but it got sorted . Again Saga were brilliant but Iglu not so.When we tried to contact their customer care number to sort the problem out ,you get put into a call waiting system which goes on and on , not good when you are dealing with the issues around a cancelled flight. They need a dedicated telephone number. Saga do have a number which were great.

Tired old ship. Needs retiring.Superb scenery and beautiful places visited off the boat Food good most of the time but two buffet evenings when the food was cold and not particularly good.Quite a scrum to get served.which is difficult if you are disabled. All inclusive not very inclusive not allowed any of the cocktails or Baileys etc Wine not of the best quality.Coach quite tight leg room and not good for tall people.VIP taxi service needs a re think being taken to Gatwick from Gloucester via Rickmansworth and Redhill not appropriate.

An old vessel which needs to be retired. Cabin carpets were very grubby and need replacing. The scenery was very interesting, but any of the excursions involved a lengthy coach journey. Not ideally suited for anyone with walking difficulties. The crew were very friendly and made one to feel welcome. Not my favorite cruise company and certainly not good value for money, given what was provided.

Staff and crew helpful and friendly, but Douro Queen has seen better days. We are probably too young for the Saga experience, however the scenery was great. Don’t have a cabin near the cross deck as moving the gangplank was very noisy especially on the last night. I appreciate it was necessary but we had a very disturbed night.

lovely setting in Portugal. Trips we choose to miss a lot of them. the weather was very wet in November. staff delightful. No good for wheel chair users as there is lots of steep ramps due to the river. We took a mobility scooter and put it together in Pinaho and it took longer to get together than we used it and there was a steep road side to drive up. The air port lost our mobility scooter. It turned up 4 days later. another mobility scooter the front wheel fell off and the couple could not use it. too many cobble stones for mobility issues.
