Magic from the moment we arrived, could not fault service it was fantastic in everyway. Took my two daughters with us age 5 and 3 and I think the memories of this trip will last with them for a lifetime. The characters knew their names and were so pleased to see them everyday. Every member of staff worked so hard to make your holiday exceptional. Didn't go on the Cruise Excursions as they were over priced, we got off at a few of the ports and made our way around sightseeing. Would definately go on a Disney Cruise again, not a cheap holiday but well worth it in the end.

We thourghly enjoyed our cruise on Disney magic in August. The ship is amazing and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. We cruised round the Med and it was beautiful. We managed to find all our own transport when we went ashore and it added to the excitement of the the trip. The food was just wonderful and so much variety. My 5 year old loved the pools and the character meetings and we have come home with loads of photos. The only downside was the little slip that was put in with our boarding passes after check in saying that you will automatically be deducted the tips that they think should be paid. It worked out over £200 for 1 week. You can request them not to do this but you'd feel a bit stingy if you did that. The staff are very good but I did feel this was a bit steep.

Absolutely fantastic cruise around the Med this summer. We booked two cabins opposite each other with Iglu. One had a navigator's veranda and one inside. Both beautiful and similar to a mini-suite in size, that we had on a previous cruise. Children loved the clubs and we loved the adult pool. Service was amazing. Cruise excursions to Pisa, Pompeii and Rome were amazing, no hassling for tips. We did our own thing in Villefranche and Barcelona, but I much preferred doing the organized trips. The ship's photographer was often at the destination and we got a lovely photo from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum. It really was a trip of a life time.

Just returned from an 8 day Mediterranean cruise on the Disney Magic and wanted to let you know that we have just had the best holiday of our entrie lives. From the minute we arrived at the cruise terminal in Dover we were treated like royalty and were on the boat within about half an hour after arriving and my neice was in the pool as soon the lift took her up to Deck 9! Free drinks available 24 hours a day from the drinks station - tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal tea, coke, water, ice, sprite and pink lemonade! Food was available free too with a good selection from fruit and sandwiches to chips, pizza, burger, hot dog, tacos to name but a few. Top tip is to check out Topsiders Buffet which we only discovered towards the end of our trip but they have a different theme each day and a wide selection to make a change from chips! The room was spotless and was cleaned thoroughly in the morning and then beds were turned down in the evening as well as bins cleaned out each evening and a surprise animal made out of towels with chocolates for the kids (or adults)! Staff were always helpful and whenever we walked past our housekeeper he greeted us by name and checked up to see if we had everything and how our day was going! The trips were extremely well organised and a member of disney was always there to make sure our day was the best it could be. the entertainment was second to none with a show twice a day (sometimes there was even a matinee) that was extremely well rehearsed and was as good as any you would see in a theatre in London. Not an easy task with a small group of performers who, in one of the shows, changed costume so many times I couldn't keep up. There was so much more to do on board than just sit by the pool and my neice thoroughly enjoyed the kids clubs which were open from 9am till 1am. Another tip is to register them for their kids clubs online as the queue at the port was long and as I had booked it online we just went into the kids club and picked up the pager and wristband which took us five to ten minutes but only took that long as the pager was not working and they do a test before you take it. The personal navigator delivered to your room each night will tell you, amongst other things, where the characters will be and this was one of the best things as it is hit and miss when you visit the parks but providing you get in line in time you not only are guaranteed to see the characters but they have more time with you for photos and autographs as well. My neice had her picture taken with Daisy and Donald and Donald took the time to dance with her which had her smiling. The only thing I can't explain is the Magic! You will have to experience that for yourself but out of all the Disney things we have done this was the best and we are already saving for next year!

From the minute you arrive at the terminal, you start your experience! The check was really quick and we were on the boat within 40 minutes of arriving, this included security our key to the world photos and our first family photo. Once on the boat we were all directed for lunch. This was just the start of things to come. The whole cruise was filled with fun for both our son and us as adults, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was to much to ask for, (not that we had to ask for anything). The ship also has a paging system for the kids, they are given a small electronic tag and you a pager, this allowed us to give our son some freedom and the staff would page us if Ross needed anything or was going from one club to another. I felt he was really safe a secure, and the kids clubs were excellent filled with lots of exciting things to do and they range from very young to teenage, there was not an unhappy kid on the ship. The food was excellent all week, the waiting staff were outstanding, Angelina and Gede, the chef made us some food from home, we shared our table with an American family of which mum was Indian, so as well as our menu meals the chef also made us additional meals us to try some Indian home cooking and also some British food for our friends to sample, such a simple but personal touch. The rooms were clean and tidy not that we spent much time them, as from the minute you awake to till you sleep you are on the go (even if its just to go to the pool and relax) the pools not huge and this concerned me to start, however during the trip there was not one time that they were over crowed, there was just so much to do that the pool unlike hotel holidays was not always a priority. The ship has a massive Ariel TV at the Goofy Pool, this was amazing, relaxing at the pool watching a film. Inside the ship is spectacular; every attention to detail is captured by Disney, from the floor to the roof. The only downside I found was the ports of call were not for kids other than Gibraltar they were all historical, and based around adults, however this didn’t dull our time in anyway we didn’t leave the ship, we didn’t need or want to. Some families who did leave the ship left their kids in the clubs, so neither of them missed out on experience. the characters were fantastic, they were so willing to spend time with each child without you feeling that your child was being rushed on or that you had to wait any real time to see the character, the queues were controlled to a tee. DISNEY I COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH FOR ANYONE WISHING TO CURISE WITH KIDS, WE LOVED OUR TIME AND ARE ALREADY LOOKING TO BOOK OUR NEXT ONE!!

I was lucky enough to take my family of four (two adults, a 10yr old boy and an 8yr old girl) on the Disney Magic during the recent May half-term. We flew to Barcelona on 26th of May and set sail the same evening for a 10 night cruise around the Med. As a family who, for the last four years, have mainly holidayed in France at various Eurocamp sites this was a very big and exciting change. The kids were excited in the lead up to the holiday and completely overwhelmed when we first saw our Disney Magic ship in the dock in Barcelona. Our cabin was an instant hit with the whole family. It was spacious, with plenty of cupboard space and a separate shower-room and toilet. The double bed was large and comfortable and the kids slept on a bunk bed that converted back into a sofa during the day. The cabin was cleaned and tidied twice a day and towel sculptures of various animals were left for us along with chocolates each evening much to the delight of the kids! The port hole was huge and gave wonderful views in the morning of different ports that we had sailed to overnight, and on our last day provided excellent views of whales swimming alongside our ship. The level of service onboard the Disney Magic was superb. The staff were always cheerful and friendly and excellent with children of all ages – making them feel like VIPs throughout the holiday. The food was also excellent, with the choice of three restaurants for the main evening meal and a variety of eateries to choose from for breakfast, lunch and snacks in between. The system of rotating restaurant every evening but keeping your servers was a good one and we enjoyed the effort that the staff went to and the variety of food and locations that this provided. We chose to sit with another family at our evening meal and by the end of the holiday we were firm friends, the kids were inseparable, and tears were shed when we had to say our good-byes! As a summing up of the dining experience I would say that Disney cruise managed to combine fun with fabulous quality dining.

Ok, so this is my opinion of the Disney Cruise. ON DECK: It was cool on deck because they had Ping Pong tables and all sorts of food places. I played lots of Ping Pong with my mum and dad. THE FOOD: The food was great for grown-ups because it had all sorts of exotic and exiting dishes but for kids the menu was the highlight of the meal unless you sat with another family with kids (in which case you would have a great time). We sat with a great family. THE KIDS CLUB: It was great but I wanted to go into the eleven year olds club, but they wouldn’t let me without my parents which kind of defeats the object. THE CABIN: When we first walked into the cabin I knew I was going to like this cruise because it was a great size. Cosy two bathroom, 2 beds and a bunk bed, including a TV cabin. It was very comfortable when I was sleeping in my bed. PORTS: I loved all the ports mainly because with most of them they were once in a lifetime opportunity. Like climbing to the top of St. Peters or walking through the busy marketplaces of Tunisia. And I would never have expected all these destinations would be so amazing. THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE: ………………………………GREAT!

FOOD: The BEST cruise holiday you will ever get .You will get free ice-cream with a delicious topping. Free food everywhere quite an interesting menu for the grown-ups and a half drawing sheet half menu for the kids. SWIMMING POOLS:Three wonderful swimming pools one for the grown-ups where you can relax with-out children bothering you and two pools for having fun and splashing each other and sliding on the twirly whirley slide. DINNER SELECTIONS: You have the choice of sitting with a another family at dinner which gives you a chance to make friends .Or you can just sit with your family. Our family made lovely friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PORTS: Well folks, welcome to all the ports you will go to. You can either walk around with a crowd of people and have a tour or go and stroll around with your lovely family. We went around the Mediterranean sea and my favourite port was Ajaccio in Corsica. CABINS The cabins are breathtaking they are the best ever and you will have your own maid and cleaner also you will get room service if you want oh yes every night you will find some crazy animal made out of a towel at the end of your comfortable bed and once we saw a whale out of our port hole!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just returned from the best holiday of our lives... the Disney Magic is simply that - magic. We would recommend a Disney cruise to anyone with kids, they will have the time of their lives and so will you! Nothing hasn't been thought of, you are well and truly looked after and they somehow manage to make all their guests feel really special. Our 3 year old daughter loved meeting the Princesses, and being called "Princess" herself. When you have your photo taken with the characters they give you time to take your own photos too, you are not at all rushed. She also loved the kids club which had a variety of things on each day and even gave them lunch so we could eat our lunch when we felt like it rather than having to stick to her timetable. The pools were lovely and warm, and the adults’ only area offered a piece of tranquillity (not to mention the included pastries and cakes!) All the food was fantastic and the pizza and burger places were open until midnight. The rotational dining system is a great idea which means you get the same waiters every night and build up a good relationship with them (they were great with our daughter, even cut her meat up for her so we could get on with eating our meals!) The entertainment was very good (all Disney themed of course) and some of the shows were outstanding; the show on the last evening got a standing ovation. The cabins were spacious (we had a balcony one) with a very clever sofa bed - the bed was actually already made up on the reverse side of the back of the sofa, just pull it down! For the adults there is a very nice spa, gym and an adult only restaurant (which we didn't actually eat in as we ate with our daughter in the evenings). Health and safety and hygiene is taken very seriously, there is never any rubbish laying around and they are constantly cleaning and maintaining the ship (in a non-intrusive way). They even hand you wipes for your hands as you enter the restaurants. The ship felt a bit busy on the at sea days but that is to be expected. The spa/gym held a few yoga/Pilates classes but these tended to be early in the morning (too early for me) or late afternoon (when we were getting ready for dinner, we had the early sitting) if there had been a few classes during the middle of the day I might have tried a few. Other than that we cannot recommend this cruise highly enough, it was a perfect holiday and we didn't realise how relaxed and looked after we were until it was time to leave...
