Surprises await you
"We were pleasantly surprised to find that we were allocated a Queens Grill suite and all that it entailed. We had a wonderful cruise on an excellent ship with happy, friendly and exceptional staff. The cod was superb, not only in the Queens grill but also in the Lido buffet. The itinerary was excellent and we saw familiar places and new cities in a relaxed and well-ordered atmosphere. We can highly recommend Cunard and Iglu services." By George onboard Queen Elizabeth
Beautiful ship & excellent service
"We recently sailed on a Fjords cruise aboard the Queen Victoria booked through Iglu Cruises. What a beautiful and elegant ship to cruise on. We had a wonderful time and were fortunate to have fabulous weather throughout the week, which made it extra special. The Britannia restaurant was excellent - with a varied choice of food and excellent service. The facilities were all perfectly maintained and the ship was spotlessly clean.
The entertainment was mostly very good and there was something for everyone. We thought the Blue Jays were fantastic, I think they were a firm favourite onboard. We were very happy that Cunard are a little more formal in their dress code and at no time did it feel stuffy - this is how cruising should be done!! I would highly recommend the ship & the cruise line. Thank you to all on the Victoria!" By Madeline Searle onboard Queen Victoria
The complete cruise experience
"Beautiful ship in lovely condition! Standard staterooms are comfortable and reasonably spacious, with very comfortable beds and lots of storage (including under the bed). Food is excellent with discreet and efficient service, unlike some cruise lines. The staff are great, plenty of dancing opportunities, both ballroom and a lively nightclub called The Yacht Club. Aperitifs in The Commodore Club are a very upmarket affair with hot and cold canapés, graciously served.
There are tons to do on sea days and lovely ports of call on our cruise which were Corfu, Kotor, Dubrovnik and Venice. Charges for transport in ports tend to be high unless you are on a Cunard Fare, but local options can be cheaper and more fun. Cocktail parties are lovely and everyone gets invited to at least one. Superb onboard buffet, with clean and delicious food. Dining room is very efficiently run. Embark and disembark also very efficient, no fuss. All in all a super week on the lovely Queen Elizabeth!" We can’t wait to come back onboard
"We sailed from New York to Southampton. This was our first cruise and it was fabulous. The service is second to none; everyone is so helpful and friendly. We are hooked and can't wait to return to the Queen Mary for another cruise. Could not find anything to complain about, fantastic food and the itinerary of things to do is tremendous." The best kept secret at sea
"We sailed on Queen Elizabeth on an 11 day cruise. It was absolutely fantastic, one of the best we've been on. I didn't want to put this on because everyone will want to go on her, probably making it too popular. The meals were fantastic and the girls loved the entertainment. We would love to do another cruise on this fantastic ship." By Keith
Cunard’s royalty treatment
"We took the Baltic cruise in June on Queen Victoria. On boarding the ship we were instantly taken in by the feeling of being at home. The whole ship is set out to cater for every need. Not one to write a boring and long winded report on our 2 weeks but this is the best ship I have ever been on and there are 12 previous with different lines. Cunard set the standards that other companies struggle to match. I could not fault any aspect of the cruise or ports the ship visited. We are in our mid 40's and loved the whole Cunard experience. Don’t be put off Cunard because the average age is high but enjoy a cruise with people that inspire you. My saying now is that ‘If Cunard doesn’t visit, and then I will never see it’. They make you feel like royalty whoever you are. And then there are the beds and soft linen. All I can is say book one and find out." By Robert
New to cruising
"We were apprehensive about our first cruise. We can say, without any reservation that the experience far excelled our expectations. The Queen Elizabeth is beautifully designed, well laid out, and with space for everybody and everything. The crew were happy and extremely helpful, the food was perfect (just enough and with good choices). We enjoyed the spa, lectures, workshops and entertainment. We even managed to refresh some ballroom dancing moves! The holiday fitted our bill perfectly and we came home completely relaxed and at one with life." By Stafford & Jenny
