San Juan is one of the biggest natural harbours in the Caribbean. The second oldest city in the Americas, San Juan is the fourth busiest seaport in the world and the second busiest cruise port after Miami.
San Juan is known for its artists and musicians who have significantly influenced Puerto Rican culture and are know locally as Sanjuaneros. The later of these museums specialise's in art from Latin America and the Caribbean. he Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico displays paintings that are either acquired by the museum's administrative personnel or donated by artists and collectors.
There are also a host of other tourist attractions worth visiting on a cruise to San Juan. There is the beautiful Old San Juan, located across a bridge on the small island of Isleta de San Juan, which is full of colonial architecture and narrow streets covered the blue adoquine stone.
