San Juan is one of the biggest natural harbours in the Caribbean. The second oldest city in the Americas, San Juan is the fourth busiest seaport in the world and the second busiest cruise port after Miami.
San Juan is known for its artists and musicians who have significantly influenced Puerto Rican culture and are know locally as Sanjuaneros. The later of these museums specialise's in art from Latin America and the Caribbean. he Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico displays paintings that are either acquired by the museum's administrative personnel or donated by artists and collectors.
