During the 2003 a new pier for ferries and cruise ships was completed in Monte Carlo's port, to give visitors an easier access to the town and its amazing sights.

The fairy-tale kingdom of Monte Carlo glitters with glamour and fame, and most of the well known trade is done in the casinos, where fortunes are won or lost. Other sights for those who aren't so interested in the bright lights and glamour include the Prince's Palace and the beautiful gardens of 'The Rock of Monaco'.

Temperatures in Monte Carlo are generally very warm all year round, with highs bordering on 30 degrees in the height of summer. Although it is quite small compared to the other destinations on cruises, it is one of the most beautiful settings with the town set on a large hill, looking out onto the beautiful Mediterranean sea.
