In our opinion:

The new Costa Flagship a ship of space and light. Its name symbolises harmony and serenity. Costa Serena along with her sister ship Costa Concordia, are the largest and longest ships in the fleet. The prestigious Samsara Spa spreads over two decks and will be a haven of wellness and relaxation. The beautiful Samsara Suites have direct access to the Spa. Over 500 cabins will have balconies. Choose from 13 bars and 5 restaurants. There are 4 swimming pools, two with retractable glass roofs. The decks are  spacious and panoramic, and the stylish public areas are designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind.

Summary: My first cruise, along with two teenage boys, and our expectations were more than reached. In fact, it was a wonderful week where we ate as much as we wanted, could have fun together or wander off and do our own thing, had great music in the evening, and enjoyed exploring new cities every day. The staff, especially the Brazilians onboard, were hugely friendly and always upbeat, adding a lot to the holiday atmosphere. The daytime entertainment they provided - for us dances, quizzes and ping pong - was a real blast when we chose to stay onboard.

A shame that they didn't allow under 16s in the gym, but otherwise as near to perfect as it can get!

Summary: Although we had an initial hitch regarding dining arrangements which was more than resolved to our complete satisfaction we wish to convey our most sincere thanks and delight in the manner of which the onboard staff attended to us. This Cruise was in celebration of my wife's 60th Birthday and indeed turned out to be a wonderful occasion none more so than on Sunday evening 07th Dec. I had booked a special meal in the Club Bacco for that evening & indeed it was made extra special in every way by A) the staff and B) our complete & utter surprise when asking to make payment for this was informed there would be no payment required as in some way this was already taken care of! This was our third cruise with Costa & each one has just got better in every way. The standards your company & Costa continue to set just seem to get better & better much to ourselves, and I am sure, a great number of your customers alike.

We would also like to draw to your attention the wonderful service given to us by our Cabin Stewardess. This young lady carried out her duties in a most efficient manner & is to be congratulated in doing so. Also, all staff in the Luna Lounge who at all times were very efficient & cheerful while fulfilling their duties tirelessly.
