The Costa Mediterranea is a ship quite like no other. With its 17th century Italian design, it's assured to offer you more style on your cruise than ever before. It could easily take your breath away at first. The Costa Mediterranea's beautiful glass elevators and ceilings give it a truly special vibe. With the incredible sculptures and wall designs that line the ship, you will feel like you've been transported to another world.
The esteemed ship manages to float through a huge amount of destinations around the world. From Caribbean cruises to Med cruises and even Baltic and Fjord cruises, you'll find the Costa Mediterranea in all of your favourite holiday spots. Most Costa cruises are fly cruises and mainly from London airports, but don't worry as you can easily get regional flights as a supplement. Simply ideal for couples and family cruises alike, the Costa Mediterranea is just waiting for you call.
As you'd expect from Costa Cruises, the interior is lavishly decorated in typical Italian style. The most stunning area is perhaps the Argentieri restaurant with its 139 artworks made of silver, that offers simply astounding dining that has to be experienced. Other restaurants include a range of authentic Italian styles from the Pizzeria Posillipo, to the Perla del Lago.
Spanning the eight decks, you'll also find a whole range of bars and lounges. The hidden Giardino Isolabella Bar is one of the cosiest spots that's just waiting for light chatter and a nightcap. While the Piazza Casanova, based on a Venetian palace ballroom, is the place to go for a spot of dancing to while the night away. There are numerous other bars scattered throughout, including the Maschera d'Argento and the Grand Canal, which all amount to offering plenty of choice no matter what your preference. The main and biggest feature of the Costa Mediterranea is without doubt the Osiris Theatre. Simply to enter the three tiers and wander around is a spectacle. Though naturally, the stage shows which go on are truly amazing and never cease to impress.
Elsewhere you will find the ship with three separate pool areas, excellent spa facilities covering two decks, a state-of-the-art gym and a jogging track on the top deck.
