Summary: My husband & I have been on the Costa Classica twice this year (2009) both in the Far East (Japan & Vietnam). Great value for Money. Drinks & Excursions Very expensive. Tipping Compulsory which means which makes for Very bad service by senior Management.
Cabin Stewards Excellent. Waiting Staff Very pleasant but very poorly trained. Food Good. Ship clean & very friendly.
Not to big. Cabins good but no toiletries ie shampoo etc provided on lower decks (just soap). Shows not great as they have to cater for all the languages. Looking forward to sailing again on the Classica, for the excellent Itineraries and great berths.
