Summary: We have just returned from a cruise through the Panama Canal. We had a mini suite and although not large the cabin was an acceptable size. Previous cruise was Oceana in stateroom with balcony which I found cramped. Pro's Great ship, Friendly staff, excellent steward, Clean cabin, Interesting itinerary for adults.
I would not have taken teenagers on this trip. Two reasonable swimming pools I would have liked to have been shallower so we could have had aquafit sessions. Excellent shows by resident cast. We enjoyed the movies under the stars.
Cons too cold in dining room and show areas take a jacket, cardigan or thick wrap! Hard sell for soda /wine/ photo deals can be irritating. Horrible pong of sewers by entrance to Princess theatre. Need to hire a couple more DVD's as same film shown several times each during the 2 week cruise. Spa pools too hot to use and possible health risk? Less salt in the food would be good.
Please don't get the wrong idea we had a great holiday. Tip no tea /coffee making facilities in the cabin but free from room service 7-9am jugs of ice water free but you may have to ask more than once. Room service comes with a smile but not necessarily the correct order! water on the ship is drinkable and free ice is available. Laundry $4 wash & dry iron free Take your own wash tablets.

Summary: "We have just returned from a cruise on the Coral Princess to Jamaica, Panama, Costa Rica, Grand Cayman and Mexico. This was a fantastic experience. The ship is beautiful and maintained to the highest standard of quality. The food was outstanding, with great variety.
The entertainment was extremely professional and the shows were excellent. The singers and dancers were exceptional. The ports we visited offered a good variety and the excursions were all well organised. We will definitely cruise with Princess Cruises again."
