We have always cruised on a smaller ship (Discovery) before and found Infinity too big partly because our cabin was at the fore and all the eating places were at the aft which meant a long and boring walk through the casino and the shopping area just to get to breakfast. We also found it very noisy as all the music was extremely loud apart from the two acts we liked - a guitarist singer and a female duo who played several stringed instruments. Our cabin was attractive and warm but the public areas of the ship seemed very cold in the evening. On the whole, the food was good although the service could be slow. The embarkation at Harwich was very swift and efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't like the disco atmosphere and sound levels as soon as we had stepped aboard as all we wanted to do was orientate ourselves as quickly and calmly as possible. The disembarkation at the end of the cruise was also well organised.  It would have to be a very special itinery for me to choose Infinity again. It just wasn't for us.

I have just returned from a cruise from Miami to San Diego via Panama Canal. It was my second cruise with Celebrity Cruises and I must say that I was disappointed with the general atmosphere on board and the food in particular. Compared with my first cruise this cruise had more of a holiday camp feeling. For example, formal nights were no different to other nights. Very casual dress was allowed in the main dining room. Standard of food was poor, some meals had to be sent back. On the plus side our cabin was very comfortable and the ship itself beautiful. Crew were polite and friendly and evening theatre shows were very good.

i I have recently returned from my first cruise with Celebrity Infinity to Norway. I have enjoyed every momment and will cruise again one day I hope.I was impressed with the cabin attendants and all the waiting staff in the trellis restaurant and cafe all were very friendly and the food was wonderful. The ship was clean and room was very comfortable and plenty of room and cupboard space. However yes there has to be a downer, I cant say much about the captain or the crew as I didnt see any apart from the odd one and they didnt speak to me and I didnt see them mixing with anyone else, I was quite dissapointed. Oslo is fantastic and the scenery at all the ports is unbelievable. I think I might try Cunard next.

We had the first cruise with Celebrity Cruise line in Infinity which gave us wonderful treatment and services. The tours were very well organised. The embarkation and disembarkation processes were both smooth and painless. The entertainment on board was good too. The food was excellent and we really love their food very much. Our dinner companions in the dining room had become our friends by the end of our cruise. The space of our balcony room was more than enough for the belongings of two people. The bed as well as the room were also very comfortable. We highly recommend cruising with Celebrity Infinity.

As always from Celebrity Cruises, the Infinity was another master piece. The decor are grand and elegant. There are a good selection of designer shop such as Doona Karan and Tommy Hilfiger, to keep the girl friend busy. At night we visited the forward observation lounge on deck 11, the disco was amazing. The Fortunes Casino, have all the popular games such as Texas Hold'em Poker table, and a selection of slot machines. The quality of food as always on Celebrity Cruises are utterly amazing. The Cova Cafe also offers excellent free fancy pastries. The service onboard was brilliant.

Our crew of 8 shipmates boarded in Seattle for a Inside Passage cruise... it was wonderful.. we all had balconies (this had a glitch..the lifeboats were under our balconies they run almost the whole ship outside)on the Holland America Line they are under part of the ship..you can not see them from the balcony... boarding had some lines but with that many people what can you expect...we left with a little rain and through the night but then skies cleared and we were on to Ketchikan... now here it gets 13 FEET! of rain in a year but we had beautiful blue skies and temp was light jacket. our choice was the seaplane to the Misty Fjords.... sooooo breath taking... it was worth the money 189.00 each... better price than on the boat 246.00 same flight. we bookedit right off the ship.... next a day at sea..... little rain.... inside warm pool was nice.... the Hubard Glacier.... WOW!!! the ship of to 1/3 mile and it was so blue... ice bergs everywhere. Our food in dinning room first seating was great ...we 8 had a lovely round table by the window so we had a wonderful views.... food was good... too good... and service great... the room were clean and cute. Juneau was ok but the Mendenhall Glacier Park was worth the bus ticket that took you around Juneau 25.00 and a lovely stop at this wayside chapel overlooking the mountains and water....and our bus driver was a hoot (Joe).... we cruised till we got back to Victoria B.C. what a beautiful city ... so many flowers and lovely sights. here you just do a hop on/off bus. you can pickup at pier... what a memory....
