Modern luxury is really an understatement for the Eclipse. Everything from the decor to the quality of service and the innovatitive dining experience of Qsine made the Celebrity Eclipse a winner in my eyes. My only advice is to pack your bags and experience it for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

The best holiday I've had in years! Eclipse was absolutely amazing. Modern, beautiful, spacious, understated but with a real WOW factor! The food was outstanding in every venue we visited, from the main dining room to the buffet, specialty restaurants & even the poolside grill which has the best burgers ever!! The crew are also amazing. Everyone is always smiling and saying hello. They bring you lovely, refreshing, ice cold towels around the pool and bring you everything you need. I loved coming back from the beach everyday to cold juice & cold towels on the quayside, these extra touches really do make a difference and make you feel special. Entertainment was great too, especially having live music of different styles in the atrium every evening. Iglu were fantastic from start to finish too. Any of my questions or anything I wanted to change was handled really quickly and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely book Celebrity again and definitely book it with Iglu! Can't wait till the next cruise now.

This was our second cruise on the Eclipse this year, taken to celebrate our granddaughter's 13th birthday. We now regard the Eclipse as our favorite ship, and is truly 5 star in all respects. The service, cabin accommodation, cleanliness, staff attitude,food quality and choice, on ship facilities and entertainment are faultless. The attention to detail and genuine crew friendliness is outstanding. Amazing how the staff remembered us from the previous cruise and all our personal requirements. The care taken to organise our granddaughter's special dietary needs was again outstanding, agreeing the menus for the following day with her during dinner. The birthday cake they presented was magnificant with it's 13 candles and baked for her diet. Her birthday highlight was the special tea they organised in the Tuscan restaurant at the rear of the ship with it's fabulous view, as we departed Lisbon. With having our daughter along this trip, who had lived in Italy, we were able to organise our own shore excursions to Pisa, Rome and Sardinia. Very easy and cheap with the train and local buses. Rome was a breeze, getting off the train at the Vatican before the crowds and to the other main sites with the right bus, enabled a very full itinerary during the 12hr stop. The girls certainly enjoyed the participation with the dance and musical lessons/events, especially performing before a packed audience in the main theatre. Only complaints this trip was the main pool tended to be dominated by teenage boys, but in the peak of school holidays is only to be expected. The theatre entertainment lacked some of the sparkle of the last cruise, with a couple of the solo acts very poor. The drinks are still too expensive compared to other lines but overall still the best cruise at this standard for the price we have experienced. Our only disappointment with Celebrity is their somewhat restricted dates and venues from Southampton, not wanting to ever fly cruise again after been stranded in Italy with the volcanic ash fiasco last year. Our first cruise organised by Iglu, hopefully the first of many.

We had a fantastic holiday on this ship, visiting Spain, Italy and Portugal. All public areas are most impressive, rooms are very well thought out and didn't feel cramped at all but I have to say the service and food were the most memorable such a high standard that they made this holiday. This was our first cruise and we will definitely cruise again. We opted for select dinning which suited us very well sometimes eating alone or joining small tables, we also selected the drinks package and felt this was good value for us. The musical entertainment was very good, although we were not over impressed with the shows in the theatre.

From the outset this cruise experience has been a joy. Iglu offered a great deal and excellent service ensuring all information about the cruise was sent well in advance. Helpful tips and information about both the ship and the destinations were included which made completing the required information for Celebrity and deciding on what trips to book very easy. The ship itself was was excellent and the hot glass blowing a must see. The balcony staterooms are well designed and spacious and the ensuite is the best I have ever experienced. The shower was very big and enclosed in glass rather than a curtain. The staff could not have been more helpful; nothing was too much trouble and when a minor problem was encountered it was dealth with quickly and efficiently. The food was top class both in the main restaurant and the food court and there was always something for everyone. Drinks were more expensive that on other ships but buying a drinks package can save money. The 16 nights went far too quickly. I will definately book with Celebrity and Iglu again. Thanks for the memories.

What a fanatastic ship, crew and expereince as we cruised the Baltic in the summer. The bars and speciality restaurants are first class and while the ship is still very new, everything is of a very high quality. We had a Sky Suite with Butler Service but there was so much to do that we missed our afternoon tea and canapes almost every night but did avail of breakfast in bed every morning. The tours were all very good and added to the experience. On the down side our Sky Suite Balcony was overhung by about an extra 8 feet due the casual dining area extention on the deck above us, so sun was an uncommon visitor to our balcony, not a huge problem in the Baltic but may be more so in the Med. Would we sail on Eclipse again - yes!

My wife and I have been on cruises previously. On the Western Mediterranean Cruise aboard the Eclipse we were joined by two friends who had not previously cruised anywhere. The whole experience was a considerable pleasure to us all and this was engendered by the facilities, comfort, entertainment and above all by the genuine attittude of the crew and management of the Eclipse. Every day was enjoyable and the variety of the programme suited us all as individuals. It is easy to write this review because looking back on the entire cruise it was totally memorable for all the right reasons. The other plus is that there are now two other confirmed future cruise customers, who, like us, will spread the word amongst friends, relatives and colleagues.

An absolutely fantastic cruise from start to finish. I cannot rate this cruise highly enough. Food - superb, the choice was unbelievable. We ate mainly in Blu, which had incredible healthy choices, but in my opinion it was just as easy to eat healthily in all of the restaurants, as long as you made the right choices of course! Cleanliness - 10 out of 10, all over the ship. Staff - again 10/10, the level of customer service was first class. All staff had a smile and a 'good morning' or otherwise at all times. Cruise Director Dru Pavlov deserves a special mention - he was excellent at his job and provided a 'link' throughout the cruise. Entertainment - great shows every night and always something going on throughout the ship at, what seemed, all hours. I found the 'paper aeroplane competition' absolutely hilarious, just watching! Facilities - 10 out of 10. We used the gym everyday for 16 days, always able to get on the equipment. Took part in several classes (pilates, spinning), thoroughly enjoyed them.

From the moment you board, you feel you are being transported into a dream-scape. Wonderful ship so rich with it's chrome / leather / etc. Food you could not fault, with staff so helpful in all areas of the ship. Our breakfast in stateroom each morning could not be better, plus all the great shore excursions, all in all book up next trip a.s.a.p.. From the initial booking with the first class Iglu team, till our arrival back at Portsmouth, our whole holiday experience can be summed up as excellent. Well done to everyone that was involved in making this a cruise to remember.

I holidayed on this ship on Saturday 30 July for two weeks with my husband. We sailed around the Italian Mediteranean. The whole experience was amazing. The ship was wonderful. Top class. I felt like I was sailing on the Titanic. Very luxurious. The ports we docked in were very upmarket and were within travelling distance. The staff were very professional, courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so good, we are planning to cruise with Celebrity again this year. We hope to cruise on their newer ship, the Silhouette. I would definately recommend Celebrity ships to anyone considering going on a cruise. Bon voyage!
