Entering service in spring 2008 with a brand-new design, Carnival Splendor will introduce a host of guest-driven facilities -- most notably, the largest spa in Carnival history. Encompassing two forward decks, the 17,800-square-ft. facility will feature a thermal suite, health and beauty treatment rooms, and the line's first thalassotherapy pool. Encircling the upper level of the spa will be a winter garden and ceremonial tea house. Another big improvement -- literally -- will be a 5,500-square-ft. children's playroom, the largest in the fleet. The area will be located mid-ship; above the facility will be a new water play area, yet another Carnival first.
