Summary: Azura Western Med 31st August 2014. This was our third cruise with P&O and I have to say it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. The entertainment was excellent especially Jimmy James who we saw twice, but they were all great.

The food was spot on. Shore excursions well organised, with the exception of Gibralter, we only had half day there and it was not enough. The ship was very well maintained, cabin always clean and the staff seemed happy, unlike Ventura last year. The only negative thing I can say about this cruise is that some of the passengers onboard were some of the most miserable I have ever seen on a cruise ship, I felt like shaking them and saying your on holiday for god sake.

I don't know why some people are so stuck up and seem to think they are better than others, but they need to get off there high horse and come down to earth. We all work very hard to have these holidays and it's those people who spoil it for all of us, so let me finish by saying P&O were excellent, but those stuck up passengers do us all a favor and stay at home in future.

Summary: My family and I have just returned from a two week med cruise, we sailed from Southampton and returned Saturday 26th July 2014. From arriving at the terminal to leaving, the P&O staff were excellent. The time on the Azura was a dream and my children (12 & 6) equally loved every minute. I have read some of the reviews and agree with most of them, but have to say some of the critic is unjust and picky to say the least.

The staff are all tentative and nothing was too much trouble, the food was superb both in the buffet and fine dinning and the entertainment was excellent with the exception of a comedian who had a bad night. The theatre does get full, but with 300+ passengers on board it is hardly surprising, its a ship not London. The mix of elderly, middle aged and young couples, family's and groups made it all the better and I would not hesitate to recommend this type of holiday to anyone, especially P&O and in particular the Azura. I would suggest one or two of the veteran cruisers who have made comments regarding "ball room dancing" etc need to possibly review why they go on cruises and re kindle their love for the experience, this is a first class experience on an excellent ship with a superb crew from officers to crew.

Thank you just simply doesn't say enough.
