First cruise with Azamara and we were very impressed with the service and friendliness of the ship. The food was fantastic especially the Aqualina Restaurant. Even though we had to miss out on a port alternative arrangements were made to ensure our safety. The white night and amazing evening were a great bonus. Our transfer from the ship to Rome and subsequently to the airport was faultless.

Ninth cruise with Azamara but first on Pursuit. Disappointed and unlikely to sail with Pursuit in the near future as not up to standard of Journey and Quest. Visit to Calvi cancelled for same reason as given on Azamara cruise a few years ago - repairs being carried out at port and ship needed to ‘ bunker’ water. Subsequently told that it was because tenders could not be used for ‘3 consecutive days’. Never heard of this before. No guest entertainers: white night party on deck finished at 9.30 pm despite sizeable percentage of guests still there. Officers seldom seen. No response to mid cruise feedback form. Breakfast and lunch at Windows Cafe also reflected reduction in standards. Overall,Azamara Pursuit did not live up to expectations but no one in an official capacity seemed to care! Several other regular Azamara guests were of same opinion.

The cruise from Buenos Aries to Rio was coupled with extra hotel nights in both cities. The combination made a most enjoyable satisfying and exciting trip, perhaps the best in 25 years of cruising. The destinations were fabulous and from the Captain down the ship was near perfect. The Pursuit is small enough to call at destinations not suitable for larger vessels. In particular Azamaras surprises made the difference, superb entertainers were brought on board from both Buenos Aries and Rio and at Montevideo all of the passengers were transported to a theatre in the city for a fabulous show. Food was of a high standard and the crew pleasant and efficient. Very very good indeed.

Excellent cruise. Interesting ports, very helpful staff and good food. Entertainments were good and everywhere exceptionally clean. Only two gripes, some of the excursions were vastly overpriced and the hairdryers cheap and nasty. A pity when all the other amenities were of such a high standard

We took our first Azamara cruise in December 2018. We went around South America, with time inside the Chilean Fjords. It was fantastic. We have nothing bad to say about the ship or the staff, both were second to none. We have booked again on the Azamara Pursuit, this time from Rome to Venice. We have even been allocated the same stateroom.

cruise was wonderfull, good food and perfect service on board. A great white-night party and the azamazing event was underfull.First transfer to and from the ship were well organised with good transport. Also the first hotel in Santiago was great, although they had tried to get an extra $45,00 for available room. Otherwise we had to wait 2-3 hours before our rooms were ready..... Second hotel in Buenos Aires was poorly, in a dangereous and dirty street. Noisy rooms and shabby bathroom, shower was held together with tape...Moreover , somebody got into one of our rooms with a master keycard and a laptop and e-reader were stolen! Also the transfer to the airport was no so great, had to push 4 persons with 8 pcs of Luggage in one small car of which we doubted that it would get us to the airport.. The driver however was friendly.

We had previously sailed on Quest, the itinerary on Pursuit was just right. The hotel in Santiago pre cruise was excellent, well located, great meet and greet. Sad to miss out on the Falklands but the Captain's decision was right and Puerto Madryn helped to soften the blow. The hotel in Buenos Aires in Tucuman Av. was not well located. Hotel OK but 8 blocks of roadworks did not help. All 4 Holiday taxis were excellent

An excellent, newly refurbished, medium-sized ship which suited us well. Friendly and mostly efficient staff, good lecturers, sufficient entertainment, and good varied food with loads of choice. We liked the smart casual dress code. The ship never seemed crowded, and the passengers from many countries were almost all very friendly and considerate. The captain was determined to offer us a good trip, taking the ship into dead-end fjords in Chile and slowly turning the ship close to scenic glaciers. We did not use the ship's tours, as we thought that they were prohibitively expensive, eg US$95 for a town walking tour, US$999 for few hours fishing.
