P&O Cruises offers 3 types of experiences onboard their cruise ships; Stylish and Contemporary, Original and Authentic and Traditional and Intimate of which Artemis is apart of. This cruise option is child-free, friendly and reflects the traditional era of cruise holidays. The cruises of the time welcomed camaraderie and adventure which made for a intimate and fulfilling time at sea.

Destinations

Artemis navigates the globe on Mediterranean cruises, South America cruises and Baltic Fjord cruises. The fantastic destinations you'll visit are complemented further by the fact that Artemis only has outside and balcony cabins so you can be sure that you're never far away from that perfect ocean or shore view.

Entertainment

Artemis provides a range of options to make your evening’s onboard fun, exciting and captivating. Artemis’s Festival Theatre is the most frequently used communal area and plays host to solo performances, lectures and cinema showings of classic and modern feature films. The Monte Carlo Casino located on Deck D captures the glamour and buzz of the famed casinos of Las Vegas. Felt gaming tables and red leather chairs deck out this lounge and invite you to try your luck at winning. Artemis also has 7 bars providing the best in light refreshments and tasty cocktails. The Horizon Bar located high atop the ship gives passengers great views of the horizon and as the sun begins to set, the warm light pours in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing the room in warm golden light. Starlights Bar is the venue where you can watch the news on a large screen by day and learn to cha cha cha at night! This bar has a superb dance floor that occupies the centre of the room and a low ceiling creating that perfect intimate atmosphere where you can dance the night away.

Artemis activities

For those wanting to partake in some physical activities Artemis has a well equipped gymnasium offering floor-to-ceiling windows, running machines and free weights. There is also the Riviera pool which is the ideal place to swim a few laps under the gaze of the sun.

Artemis dining options

Dine onboard Artemis and be treated to both port and starboard ocean views as you enjoy a range of courses on the delicious menu. The décor of the Main Coral Dining Room sees soft pastels complemented by wonderful paintings. This is a very elegant and classic place to dine. The conservatory provides an alternative to the formality of the Coral Dining Room and sits high atop the ship on the lido deck. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide wonderful ocean views and give the room a light airy feel. Here you can enjoy informal self-service dining with a tempting array of food.

Additional features that can be found onboard Artemis include internet access and a range of themed cruises that give you the opportunity to further your interest or start a new hobby. Themed cruise topics include such diverse titles as cookery and ice carving to lesson and instruction on various dance styles. It’s worth doing some research before you go because you may find an opportunity to make your cruise even more special by combining it with a subject close to your heart.
