A grand 106-passenger vessel situated on Portugal’s Douro River, the AmaVida set sail in 2013 to bring Ama’s excellent service to Portugal. The ship features a main dining room with al fresco dining for up to 32 guests, as well as a sun deck swimming pool, fitness center and spa. Boarding the AmaVida, you will be met with a warm welcome and fine service that is bound to make you leave feeling refreshed.

Cuisine and Dining on AmaVida

AmaWaterways’ excellent gourmet dining is available at the Main Restaurant, an outstanding room complete with brilliantly comfortable furniture and attentive staff to give you the best atmosphere and experience while dining.

Or if you are just looking to relax on the journey or converse with your fellow guests, while enjoying a fine glass of wine, you can look to the Main Lounge & Bar above the Main Restaurant.

On this ship is the Al Fresco Dining area at the bow of the ship, accessed through the Main Restaurant and overlooking the beautiful Douro River.

Entertainment on AmaVida

Each night, performers are brought on board to perform unique and stunning acts, in the evening after dinner. In the Main Lounge, there is a piano where you can let yourself be soothed or excited by the wonderful music on the ship.

Spa & Fitness on AmaVida

Looking to exercise or get a refreshing massage? The AmaBella is equipped with a Fitness Room and professional Spa.

Recreation on AmaVida

Unlike some other cruise lines, Ama Waterways have equipped each of their staterooms with a desk so that their passengers can browse the Internet in privacy. There is however Wi-Fi available throughout the ship, for those who wish to be mobile.

On the sun deck is a larger heated pool, so that even on a cold day you can still swim and relax in warmth. The sun deck itself has plenty of space for passengers to grab a deck chair and bathe in the sun.
